If you are the adventure type and looking for 24/24 hour action you can explore Spitsbergen in July and enjoy the 24 hour sun of the polar summer.

Although this archipelago is the most accessible point of the North Pole it does not appear on tourist routes. So the only way to visit this wonder land is a 7 or 9 days cruise.

The center of Spitsbergen Region is Longyearbyen and is accessible by plane from Tromso, Norway. It is also a landmark of the arctic cruises.

Flights from Longyearbyen go to Ny Alesund; many other important sights can be visited in organized tours or cruises.
