
Dallol is a step away from the flat salt ground, is by far the most stimulating site ever seen. The marvel, about 200 Km far of Mekelle City in North East Ethiopia, is 3000 hectare wide and 123 meters below sea level. It is made up of potash, sulfur and other valuable minerals, pours water that smokes. The color of the ground sprinkles and the smoke jointly discharges a vibrant image, a rare incident ever to encounter.

Lalibela is one of UNESCO world heritage site of Ethiopia. A true wonder of the world not “built” but “hewn” and intricately curved from Virgin rock, are unable to believe that the rock churches are entirely made by man. They attribute their creation to one of the last Kings of the Zagwe Dynasty, king Lalibela, in the 12th Century. Lalibela is internationally renowned for its 11 rock-hewn churches which are sometimes called the eight wonders of the World.

Debre Damo is magnificent in terms of its location and extensive collection of priceless manuscripts that have remained intact until today.
Debre Damo is only accessible by climbing up by a rope, which is made of “plaited leather”, lowered from the cliffs, which visitors tie around their waist and are then pulled up by a monk at the top of the cliffs.
