Did you know that in 1855 Charles Darwin visited all the 13 islands of Galapagos? During its visit here he noted that in each of the 13 island live different and unique species of finch. He concluded that all coming from a single species and the specific species appeared because of the specific medium of life.
Based on these evidences Darwin published in 1859 the work “Origin of species” that had generated great controversy at that time.

If you are a nature lover you have to know that Galapagos Island are unique and can offer to its visitors spectacular meetings with fauna and more than that, the most animals and birds are not afraid of people. For protecting the ecosystem, the islands were transformed in national park in 1959.
