There are beautiful forests and harsh volcanoes along with deserts and even more beautiful flora and fauna species. You can get around the area in a hired car, though buses are also a popular means of transport. El Teide is one of the most famous places to visit here from where you can see the entire island with ease.

Another famous destination for hikers is Parque Rural de Anaga. This beautiful park is known as a hiker’s paradise because of its amazing views. The Pico del Ingles viewpoint is also located here. If you hire a car, you would be able to move around the island along its wonderful drives. The roads are long and wind along the mountain paths for a truly breathtaking experience. The most famous drive leads you to Masca Village. The Loro Parque Zoo and Siam Park are also good options to explore. However, if you are interested in exploring marine life, then prefer to go scuba diving along the coastline. Water sports are also quite popular amongst tourists who especially prefer wind surfing. Here, you would not be getting a lot of biking opportunities as roads along the coast are quite busy. Still some mountain roads will provide you a nice cycling getaway which would certainly be appreciated by you for the good. Happy travelling!
