Escape Summer in Cinque Terre

This World Heritage Site is actually a small cluster of 5 coastal villages namely- Corniglia, Riomaggiore, Monterosso, Vernazza and Manarola. Hiking is also very popular here. In fact, Cinque Terre is considered to be the best coastal hiking trail in the world. You can also see Manarola lighted Nativity, which is the biggest in the world. If you visit between May and August, then you would also be able to participate in the patron festivals of these villages. Pirate’s attack of Vernazza and harvest are the most popular celebrations of this region. If you don’t mind witnessing the power of nature, stand along a cliff and watch some mighty sea storms too.
